‘Bridgerton’ season 4: Netflix has given ‘Bridgerton’ fans a first glimpse of the upcoming fourth season. On Monday, the streaming giant shared the show’s new poster on its official Instagram page.

The poster features Yerin Ha as Sophie Baek, a young maid in the grand world of the Bridgertons. Dressed in an elegant gown, Sophie holds a mask in her hand.

The show’s makers teased the season with a playful caption: “One thing is certain, gentle readers, a masquerade is like no other event. Prepare yourselves, for anything can happen. Bridgerton Season 4 shall debut in 2026.”

Fans of the series know that each season focuses on the romantic journey of a Bridgerton sibling. Season 3 released in May and June 2024 in two parts. It followed Colin Bridgerton (Luke Newton) and Penelope Featherington (Nicola Coughlan).

Season 2, which premiered in March 2022, focused on Anthony Bridgerton (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Sharma (Simone Ashley).

The very first season, back in December 2020, revolved around Daphne Bridgerton (Phoebe Dynevor) and Simon Basset (Rege-Jean Page).

With four siblings’ love stories already told; Daphne, Anthony, Colin, and Penelope, the remaining Bridgerton children are set to take the spotlight in future seasons.

These include Eloise (Claudia Jessie), Francesca (Hannah Dodd), Gregory (Will Tilston), and Hyacinth (Florence Hunt), according to Variety.

Season 4 promises a mix of familiar faces and new characters. Returning stars include Jonathan Bailey, Adjoa Andoh (Lady Danbury), Julie Andrews (voice of Lady Whistledown), Nicola Coughlan, Claudia Jessie, Luke Newton, and Golda Rosheuvel (Queen Charlotte).

Newcomers joining the Bridgerton universe are Isabella Wei, Michelle Mao, and Katie Leung, who will play Sophie Baek’s stepsisters and stepmother, Posy Li, Rosamund Li, and the formidable Lady Araminta Gun, respectively.

Alongside Sophie, other characters featured in the new season include Victor Alli as Lord John Stirling, Lorraine Ashbourne as Mrs. Varley, Masali Baduza as Michaela Stirling, Daniel Francis as Lord Marcus Anderson, Ruth Gemmell as Violet Bridgerton, Martins Imhangbe as Will Mondrich, Polly Walker as Portia Featherington, Emma Naomi as Alice Mondrich, and Hugh Sachs as Brimsley. Simone Ashley will also make a return as Kate Sharma.
